Expelled RJD MP from Bihar Pappu Yadav on Tuesday allegedly misbehaved with a woman flight attendant of a Jet Airways flight from Patna after she asked him not to throw leftover food in the aisle.
The incident happened when the plane from Patna was on its way to New Delhi, airline sources said. “Yadav was extremely unruly with the cabin crew when she asked him not to throw the leftover food in the aisle and also misbehaved with her,” an airline source said.
The flight attendant wrote a complaint to the airline over the incident. "While having lunch on the flight, 1A (Pappu's seat number) dropped the dessert on his bag kept near his feet and asked the crew to clean it. (He) told the crew MPs don't do this work. 1A took off his chappal and showed it (to) the crew. (He) told the crew he would hit them with it if the crew told him anything," The Times of India quoted the flight attendant as saying in her complaint.
According to TV reports, Pappu Yadav also allegedly refused to put his seat in an upright position and snubbed the crew members when he was told to switch off his mobile phone. "For landing, 1A refused to upright his seat and unfastened his seat belt... After opening doors, 1A manhandled me and pushed me aside with force to get out of the aircraft...I went to the cockpit to inform the captain. I was in tears and physically hurt," the stewardess said in her complaint.
