CHENNAI: In the single largest seizure of cocaine here, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Monday nabbed a 35-year-old Colombian national, a suspected courier from an international drug cartel, who landed at Chennai airport with 2.2 kgs of the drug, worth about `11 crore.
The sleuths picked up Caldera Carlos Enrique, who arrived in an Emirates flight from Dubai, as he was coming out of the airport. Caldera had taken a flight from his home country to Rio in Brazil, and then took a flight to Dubai before boarding the Chennai-bound flight.
