Bengaluru: A 35-year-old man, who arrived at Kempegowda International Airport here from Bangkok, was found to be transporting four gold bars, together weighing around 490 g, by concealing them in his rectum.
Vikas Kumar alias Vicky, a resident of Ulhasnagar in Thane district of Maharashtra, was caught soon after he landed here on June 10, sources said on Friday.
Customs officials here had been tipped off by their counterparts.
