Mangaluru: Mangaluru International Airport Immigration officials handed over a murder accused, to the police on Monday.
According to police, the arrested Bipin Rai, was involved in the murder of Abdul Hameed, at Vaidyanatha Nagara, in Shakthinagara, on October 7, 2014. Hameed had borrowed loan from a firm owned by Rai. As the latter failed to repay the loan, he was murdered. Though police had arrested two persons - Harish Kembar and Abhishek, the duo had reportedly told the police that at the behest of Bipin Rai and Harish Sapalya, they had murdered Hameed.
After committing the offence, Rai had escaped to foreign country and the police had issued Look Out Circular (LOC) to all international airports.
