Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala police on Thursday registered cases against 15 CISF and staff of Airport Authority of India (AAI) in connection with the death of a CISF jawan during clashes at Kozhikode international airport on Wednesday night.
Police said 10 persons were taken into custody for questioning after the police examined the CCTV footage at the airport’s ATC gate, where the scuffle between CISF and AAI staff occurred. Case was registered for murder, attempt to murder, assault and unlawful assembly.
CISF senior commandant Anil Bali said in Kozhikode that they would cooperate with the police probe, which, they expected to be a professional and impartial one.
