Vijayawada: Union minister of state for commerce Nirmala Sitaraman, Deputy CM KE Krishnamurthy, Chief Secretary I Y R Krishna Rao, MP K Narayana and several higher officials were stranded at Vijayawada Airport when Hyderabad-bound Spicejet aircraft was delayed by nearly three hours due to a technical snag.
Scheduled to take off at 2:40 p.m., the flight left the airport around 5 p.m after the ground crew rectified the problem. All this while, the passengers had to wait for the clearance of the pilot.
