Tiruchi: Air connectivity to Bengaluru from Tiruchi is poised to resume after a gap of several years.
Fly Easy, a Bengaluru-based regional airline has conveyed to Tiruchi airport officials that flight operations from the Rock City to the IT city will be launched in a couple of months.
A top-level executive of the airline visited the Tiruchi international airport a few days ago and held discussions with the officials regarding commencement of the service.
Tiruchi Airport Director B.C.H. Negi said the Fly Easy executive had conveyed to him that flight operations in the Bengaluru-Tiruchi-Bengaluru sector would be launched either in August-end or September.
