Two held at IGI with live ammunition

New Delhi:  Two persons have been arrested at Indira Gandhi International Airport in separate cases of carrying live ammunition. A passenger from Delhi, Naushar Ali, who was scheduled to board an Air India flight AI-803 from Delhi to Bangalore on Monday morning, was caught by security officials carrying ten live cartridges in his hand baggage. "Around 4.20am, a passenger was found carrying ten live cartridges of .32 calibre, which were detected when his handbag was screened. The passenger failed to produce any legal documents or licence for the ammunition," an official said.
