Hyderabad: Customs sleuths arrested a Hyderabadi woman, who arrived at the RGI Airport from Dubai, for trying to smuggle in 58 tola gold on Wednesday morning.
According to Customs officials, air passenger Salma flew in from Dubai by an Air India flight (AI 952) and landed at the airport at 5.30 am. At the customs check area, Salma opted for the 'green channel' indicating that she was not carrying anything to declare to the customs. However, during passenger screening, the customs sleuths found that she was carrying some metallic object.
