21 Dubai-bound Nepali women held in India

New Delhi:  Twenty-one Nepali women who were trying to go to Dubai and other cities in the Gulf countries illegally have been caught from different hotels at Mahilpalpur in New Delhi , India.

Indian police raided the hotels as they were informed by seven Nepali women, who were being trafficked to Dubai by a human trafficking racket on Saturday. A majority of them were arrested from Shreeram Hotel and some from private apartments.

Police also detained Bishnu Tamang and Dayaram on the charge of human trafficking. They were taken into the custody of Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport and will be handed over to Nari Niketan Centre in New Delhi , police said.
