Mumbai: Close on the heels of opening its new office in China to support existing and new clients within the aircraft and engine leasing industry in China and Asia, Ireland headquartered Acumen Aviation has teamed up with India’s aircraft engineering services, Air Works.
Acumen Aviation is a global provider of aircraft technical services, software and support. India’s Air Works provides maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services from 12 airports in India, for business and general aviation customers. An independent aviation services provider, Air Works is into aircraft engineering and management services.
Through a minority investment, Air Works has inked a strategic partnership with Acumen Aviation Europe. The deal would envisage Air Works entering the large and growing aircraft asset management business, and can build a greater presence in Europe, Asia and the US.
The partnership is aimed at focussing on providing customers a single source for best-in-class aviation services.
