Mumbai: GVK managed Mumbai International Airport Pvt Ltd (MIAL) has received the ISO 50001:2011 accreditation that recognises efforts and measures put forward by an entity to energy management system (EnMS). This standard provides a recognised framework for integrating energy performance into management practices. The main objective of the standard is to continuously improve energy-related performance and identify energy reduction opportunities through the development of EnMS.
