Nagpur: A team from Anil Ambani-led Reliance Defence and Aerospace visited Mihan for the second time on Thursday. The company plans to take up 1,000 acres land for a proposed unit to make defence aircraft spares in Mihan. Since it is the second visit, sources said it appears the company may be zeroing in on Nagpur.
The team had visited Mihan and Butibori estate of Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) last month. Sources said Reliance' team included experts from France. Reliance is also looking for tie-ups with defence manufacturers in Europe.
