Indore: Re-carpeting and repair of the runway is on the cards at Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport here. Airport director Manoj Chansoria told UNI that a decision in this regard was taken during a recent meeting chaired by Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan. He said, passengers were facing inconvenience due to the runways bad condition. A tender has been issued for the project, which is estimated to cost around Rs 11 crore. The tender would open on September 15.
