New Delhi: At over dozen airports, including at Chennai, Kozhikode, Mangaluru, and Thiruvananthapuram, passengers will soon be able to print their own boarding cards and tag their checked-in bags.
“We are currently engaged in a bid with the Airports Authority of India to provide self-service bag drop at 13 airports. Today, if a passenger has a check-in bag, he has to go to a counter. With a self-service drop bag, you can tag your bag and it will go directly for sorting,” said Maneesh Jaikrishna, Vice-President (India and sub-continent_, SITA.
