Chennai: Unaccounted foreign currency worth Rs 58 lakh was today seized from a 48-year-old man at the airport here, airport authorities said.
He was detained and is being interrogated by appropriate authorities, airport officials said.
The currency, which includes USD and Euro was seized after a screening of the baggage of Madi Narayana, a resident of Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh.
