Mumbai: An aerobridge operator got injured on Friday afternoon at Mumbai airport after he accidentally stayed put near the bridge when it was moving .
After the departure of a Vistara flight, when the aerobridge which was used for boarding was retracting, the left hand of the personnel, identified as Vaibhav Pawaskar, got stuck in the tunnel wall of the aerobridge causing the injury.
The personnel, an employee of ground handling agency, Celebi NAS was given first aid by the aiport doctor and was thereafter taken to Nanavati Hospital, said an airport official.
