Indore: The much-hyped Air Taxi services which were supposed to start by first week of August is likely to be delayed as the operator is facing some technical issues at Dubai airport.
Dubai's customs department have asked Supreme Transport Aviation Ltd (STAL), which will operate the service in Madhya Pradesh to sort out pilot's visa-related issues before giving a go ahead.
"We are facing some problems from customs at Dubai airport as they want the pilot to take a transit visa first and then fly the plane to India," said Milind Mahajan, in charge of STAL's Madhya Pradesh operations.
Pilot is flying the plane from United Sates on basis of business visa. Customs at Dubai airport have asked to obtain a transit visa only then they would allow the pilot to take the plane to India and return, he explained.
