Indore: Much awaited air taxi that will connect different cities of the state would land in Indore on Thursday.
The aircraft will arrive from United Sates and would be stationed at Devi Ahilya Holkarbai Airport, Indore said an official of Supreme Transport Aviation Ltd.
Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (MPSTDC) along with a Mumbai-based firm, Supreme Transport Aviation Ltd (STAL) is going to start air taxi services by this month in a bid to boost tourism in the state.
Air taxi will connect 12 cities of state and it will also connect some cities of neighboring states with popular tourist destinations.
President and CEO of the firm said, "We have purchased two 9-seater Cessna Grand planes from South Africa and US worth Rs 15 crore each. One plane from US would land on Thursday at Indore airport."
