After AI and GoAir, Jet next in line to shift to T2

Mumbai: After national carrier Air India (AI) shifting its operations to new Terminal 2 (T2) and GoAir shifting to Terminal 1B, full service carrier Jet airways is next in the line as part of the integration process, as announced by airport operator Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL).

An airport official said, "We are integrating the operations at T2 in a gradual manner. Jet airways will be next in the line." No date has been finalised for the shifting though. Arline Vistara already started its operations from T2 earlier this year. GoAir will shifting its departures to terminal 1B from September 25, the airport officials said. According to the MIAL officials, the GoAir flight no G8 305 to Chennai will be the first to depart from Terminal 1B at 04.45 am. The arrivals, however, will continue from Terminal 1A for now.
