Air India receives threat call

National carrier Air India's office received a call on Sunday, threatening to blow up Indira Gandhi International Airport, in Delhi, if his demand for 1 million USD is not met.

The airline has reported the case to Thane police. Investigation has been started. "The caller is being traced," said an airport source, who is aware about the development of the case. According to the airport sources, caller identified himself as Ahmed.

Following the call, security has been beefed up at IGI airport. Flights to Delhi have also been screened for more security.
