AP Capital airport in 5000 acres

Besides elevating Gannavaram airport as International airport, Andhra Pradesh government is also planning one more airport in the upcoming capital, Amaravati. The new airport will be built in a 5,000 acres plot in Amaravati. The state government is already in the process of expanding the existing 536 acres Gannavaram Airport by another 697 acres.

The state government already managed to solve most of the land acquisition issues of Gannavaram airport. It may be reminded to our readers that this issue is plaguing the airport’s development for several years.
