Bathinda: The ‘Army Microlight Expedition, commemorating the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the 1965 Indo-Pak War and paying respect to martyrs, brave veterans and war heroes arrived at the Cantonment here today with a fleet of three microlight aircrafts, a press release said.
This challenging microlight flying expedition has been undertaken by the Army Adventure Wing. This expedition involves flying over a distance of 3,120 kms in 10 days connecting Mhow (MP), Ahmedabad, Bhuj, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Bathinda, Hissar, Jaipur and Kota. The aircraft are being flown by team of qualified and experienced pilots of the Indian Army.
