Hubballi: Members of the Karnataka Janahitha Vedike attempted to picket the Hubballi airport on Friday to step up pressure on the state and the central governments to resolve the Kalasa-Banduri dispute quickly. They bypassed security, gathered at the entrance of the airport and raised slogans against the governments' seemingly slow response to a series of protests and agitations on the issue for an hour.
The security personnel, however, succeeded in preventing the protesters from moving beyond the entrance. The protesters picked an argument with the security personnel over this.
