Kempegowda International Airport gives passengers a taste of art

The Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) at Bengaluru has added a new element. There are now art installations in the airport which will give passengers a peek into the life, culture and history of India.

According to a report in Deccan Herald, the exhibit titled ‘I am India’ has various installations. The installations include those on cricket, literature, Indian spices and even about the invention of zero.

Some of the popular ones at the airport are “Chaturanga” and “Moksha Patam”. Chaturanga is the game we know as chess today, which originated from Easter India in 280-550 BC.
