Malaysia Airlines flight MH19 makes unscheduled landing in India due to broken lavatories

Malaysia Airlines flight MH19 from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur made an unscheduled landing on Thursday in Chennai of India due to broken lavatories.
In an email replied to Xinhua's inquiry, the airline said that the flight departed Chennai at 4:08 (local time) on Thursday and had already arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 10:47 the same day.
Malaysia's state news agency Bernama quoted a passenger on the flight as saying that they were informed that all six lavatories were functioning when the flight took off, but then three of them became inoperable, and a few hours later, all six lavatories cannot be used.
As there was still a few more hours for the journey, the pilot decided to make an unscheduled landing, she added.
