New kennel for squad dogs at airport

A new kennel has been commissioned for the six dogs in the security squad at Cochin International Airport. The 6,500 sq. ft. kennel was built at a cost of Rs. 1.10 crore and was inaugurated by CIAL managing director V. J. Kurien.

The Central Industrial Security Force has six dogs in the squad, which have been trained at the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Training Centre, Punjab and at the BSF Dog Training School in Gwalior, says a press release here.
