Panaji: An air passenger was today arrested for allegedly trying to smuggle in gold worth Rs 33.5 lakh at Goa airport, which was hidden in voltage converters, Customs department said.
The Air Intelligence Unit of Customs has seized the precious metal from the accused identified as Mohammed Shaffi (26).
