Uber levies Rs 110 surcharge for rides from Mumbai airports

Taxi-hailing app Uber has added a surcharge of Rs 110 to its ride fare for pickups from Mumbai's Domestic and International airports. The move came after the Mumbai International and Domestic Airport's management recently allotted designated pick-up areas for commercial vehicles entering the premises to pick-up passengers.

Mind you, it's not Uber, but the traveller who has to bear this burden of restructured payment. According to Uber, an airport surcharge will be added to your fare, if you're picked up from one of the following locations:
Domestic Airport: Terminal 1A and Terminal 1B International Airport: Terminal P4 and Terminal P6

Thankfully, you don't have to pay this in cash, at least with Uber, "This works in the same way that the sea-link toll is automatically added to your trip fare."
