Bhopal: An airhostess of Air India AI-437 Delhi-Bhopal flight, on Saturday night, levelled charges of abuse and misbehaviour against a passenger, son of a retired IAS officer Sankalp Samal.
According to security personnel, the airhostess in her complaint stated that a passenger Sankalp Samal, son of retired senior IAS officer UK Samal, was travelling from Delhi to Bhopal in flight number 437. She stated that Sankalp was in inebriated condition and on the flight some of his belongings fell on the floor. He instructed the air hostess to collect the items from the floor, to which she objected. Following, this Sankalp got furious and started abusing her. There was an exchange of arguments between the two following which she submitted a written complaint.
