Tirupati: The tourism industry is not only the fastest growing industry in the country but is also providing livelihood to a large number of people, including the poor, according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said this while inaugurating the new international terminal building of the Tirupati Airport at Reniugunta, near here, on Thursday.
Stating that all the airports in the country should be developed further through the private public partnership (PPP) system, he hoped that the Tirupati airport would now see more footfall of the overseas devotees of Lord Venkateswara.
