New Delhi: Private and business jets operators have been barred from flying in and out of Indira Gandhi International airport here and its adjoining aerodromes for two days in the wake of ongoing India-Africa Forum Summit, which is being attended by several top international leaders.

The curbs on flying by the non-scheduled operators remained in force for over six hours today, sources said.

The restrictions would also remain in effect for almost entire day tomorrow, according to a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) issued by the Airports Authority of India (AAI).

"Between 1130 hours and 1800 hours on October 28 and between 0300 hours to 1230 hours and 1330 hours to 1730 hours no flight (will be) permitted to take off and land at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi, and subsidiary airports within 300 kms zone of Delhi," the NOTAM said.
