Panaji: Customs personnel on Tuesday arrested 21-year-old Farhan Abdulla Haneef Abdulla, a resident of Kasargod, Kerala, and seized 1kg gold worth 27 crore at Dabolim international airport. Abdulla had arrived from Dubai.
A customs officer said that the accused carried the gold at the airport and when he got off the plane, taped the gold bar to the bottom of an airport luggage trolley with adhesive tape.
