A passenger hailing from Bhatkal died on Air India Express flight from Dammam, which landed at Mangaluru International Airport here in the early hours of Wednesday October 21.
The deceased has been identified as Ibrahim Khaleel Ruknaddin (55).
An official at Air India Express told daijiworld that when the flight from Dammam landed at 3.35 am in Mangaluru, Khaleel was found unconscious.
Doctors were called to the airport immediately and he was rushed to a nearby private hospital, where he was declared dead, the official said, adding that the cause of death is yet to be ascertained.
