Bhopal: MP Tourism Development Corporation (MPTDC) will pay a sum of Rs 19,000 for each flight of Air Taxi, which is going to resume in the state. MPTDC has planned to start Air Taxi for Indore, Jabalpur, Satna and Raipur from Bhopal. It has been decided to pay Rs 19000 as grant to Supreme Air Lines for Air Taxi.
This will put a financial burden of Rs 5 crore per year on MPTDC. Air Taxi facility was earlier provided in the state by Ventura Air Connect in the state but it could not continue for want of passengers. MPTDC used to pay money equivalent to fare of two seats to Venture Air Connect.
