Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday laid foundation stone for the works on beautification of Visakhapatnam Airport.
Union Minister for Urban Development M. Venkaiah Naid was also present on the occasion. About Rs. 3.22 crore would be spent on the beautification of the airport.
Speaking on the occasion, Venkaiah Naidu said that the Central Government would provide required financial assistance to AP Government for various development programmes. He said all the funds meant for the State would be released in full.
