Jammu: Jammu airport, one of the sensitive airports of the country, is in a miserable condition. The maintenance of existing infrastructure of the airport is being ignored by the authorities and passengers are facing a lot of hardship due to the unhygienic conditions prevailing on and outside the premises.
The airport in the winter capital is full of chaos and unhygienic conditions. Jammu airport, ranked as the 27th busiest airport of the country, is facing passenger chaos and seems to be mismanaged.
The Government of India has already sanctioned Rs 70 crore for the expansion of the airport. After resolving some disputes, the authorities finally started work last year. But the existing infrastructure of the airport is a shambles.
