Bhubaneswar: Waiting for your flight at Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) will no more be a boring and unpleasant act. With an aim to provide better traveller experience during waiting hours, the airport authorities are planning to have entertaining and engaging activities on its premises in the city.
Apart from the regular kiosks and shopping stalls, the airport shall be host to various events ranging from exhibitions to fashion shows, music and auto shows, children gaming and many more to engage the passengers.
“Being stuck at airport for hours at stretch with nothing to do but wait for the flight is the most irksome part of travelling. Different events will provide much needed relief and entertainment to the passengers,” said Satyabrata Ratho, a city –based entrepreneur and a regular flyer.
