A 25-year-old man from East Khasi Hills in Meghalaya has reportedly gone missing from Mumbai airport, just days after he landed a job with a Malad-based BPO firm and had moved to the city.
The incident was reported six days ago after Mawramsong Khar Hujon and his sister, who had come to take Hujon back home -- as he had fallen severely ill after coming to Mumbai on November 26 -- had missed their flight to Guwahati. Hujon was not carrying a mobile phone or any currency when he went missing.
"My brother had come to Mumbai on November 26 after landing a job at I-Serve, a BPO. However, as he took severely ill, I had to come here to take him back. But, as we missed our flight to Guwahati on December 4, we decided to catch the next day's flight and returned to our rented accommodation at Malad," Pynishisha, the sister said, recalling the sequence of events.
