Hyderabad: Officials of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) detained a passenger on Friday and seized 2.44 kg gold worth `62.94 lakh at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in the city.
The DRI officials acting on a tip off, reached the airport and found the gold in an Air India flight that arrived from Dubai and was on its way to Visakhapatnam.
