Man trying to smuggle gold held at airport

HYDERABAD: An Air India (AI) passenger was caught by customs officials at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) on Thursday when he tried to smuggle in gold in powder form, which was mixed with a chemical to mask it.When the seized material was purified, it yielded 908 grams of gold, which was worth Rs 23 lakhs.
