A section of the residents of Brindhavan Nagar, near Coimbatore International Airport, picketed the side gate connecting the airport, on Wednesday, protesting against the parking of tankers carrying aircraft fuel alongside narrow roads in residential localities.
P. Sivalingam, a resident, claimed that parking of over 20 tankers on the roads had hindered movement of vehicles.
