Hong Kong: A man who arrived in Hong Kong from Kolkata, India via Kunming, Yunnan was arrested yesterday by Hong Kong Customs with about five kilograms of cannabis resin worth US$500,000 at Hong Kong International Airport.
The suspected cannabis resin was found inside 14 packages of instant noodles.
The arrested male, aged 49, claimed to be a businessman.
He was charged with one count of trafficking in a dangerous drug. He will appear at Tsuen Wan Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
