The ban on visitors to the viewers’ gallery and international terminal of the Cochin International Airport will continue through January as part of intensified security arrangements in the wake of the recent terrorist attack at the Pathankot Air Force base, says a press release here.
The ban on the visitors had been in effect till January 10. However, the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security has advised the airport authority to continue with the ban in view of the security threats, the press release adds.
