Mysuru: Air Asia India CEO and Managing Director Mittu Chandilya stressed on the need for expanding the runway at the Mysuru Airport. He was speaking at the ‘Flying High’ event organised by the Mysore Chapters of Young Indians and the Confederation of Indian Industries, here on Friday.
“It is not possible for an Airbus A320 to land in and take off from the Mysuru airport. A runway above the National Highway can solve the issue. Such a structure is there in many countries including at the Changi Airport in Singapore,” he added.
