Mumbai:A 67-year-old Kenyan citizen collapsed suddenly at the T2 terminal of Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai on Thursday. The passenger, who was flying from Mumbai to Nairobi, via Kenya Airways was standing at a counter near Island E at the terminal when he collapsed.
The MIAL Medical Team present at the airport responded to the alert in a few minutes and emergency aid was provided to the passenger.
The passenger was admitted at Fortis Hospital, Mulund, for Pulmonary fibrosis & Reflux oesophagitis and was discharged on Thursday. After MIAL Medical Team advised immediate hospitalisation, the patient's son insisted upon re-admitting the passenger at Fortis Hospital.
