An Indian-Canadian Punjabi man has been arrested for allegedly assaulted a woman flight attendant, and then, according to some reports, bit her finger.
The flight returned to Toronto’s Pearson International Airport after the incident and the flight was rescheduled to take off later.
The accused, identified as 47-year-old Jaskaran Sidhu, was arrested and faces two counts of mischief, assault causing bodily harm and endangering the safety of an aircraft after exhibiting "assaultive and belligerent" behavior towards the flight attendant, Canadian police said.
