Chennai: Security officialsat Anna International airport here today detained a Singapore-bound passengeras he was found carrying 16 kg of peacockfeathers illegally.
Airport sources said the CISF personnel,while scanning his baggage found 16 kg of peacock.
When questioned, the passenger, identifiedas Murugan, said he was taking it in connectionwith 'Thai Poosam' festival in Singapore.
