Bengaluru: The Air India flight from Bengaluru to Delhi, which was delayed by four hours prompted passengers to protest at the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) here on Friday.
Airport sources said low visibility due to heavy fog at the Delhi airport had delayed flight operations to different cities including Bengaluru. However, the delay led to a cascading effect on other airlines too.
Police said a few passengers raised slogans against the airline authorities. However, it did not spill out of control. Reports suggested that as many as 240 passengers were lined up to board the Delhi flight scheduled to depart at 1 pm.
