The Nedumbassery police on Tuesday nabbed a taxi driver for a botched attempt to steal 1,400 dollars from the baggage of an Australian couple, who had hired his taxi.
Officials said the person, identified as Anoop, 28, a native of Muvattupuzha, was arrested after he picked up an altercation with the middle-aged couple after reaching the Nedumbassery airport.
